2020 at Aerostrat
The Last 12 Months of Updates at a Glance.
As this difficult year comes to a close, we wanted to take a step back and reflect on this year. Despite having the airline industry turned upside down, Aerostrat has been plugging away to build new features and continue to build out Aerros. Over the last 12 months, we have introduced a variety of features to complete the experience in Aerros, as well as begin to complete our vision where our software can manage each process of a heavy maintenance program.
12 months ago, we launched our metrics dashboard to simplify reporting and make it easier to retrieve information. This dashboard has continued to grow and now has eight reports, and our goal is to add at least one new report each release.
The end of 2019 also saw the launch of our ad-hoc requirements feature. Ad-Hoc requirements are manually generated requirements which can be used to track unique aircraft specific issues or milestones. These can be used to track generic issues or mark a milestone in the future.
Our first update this year was a large one. It included bulk editing events, new reports, and customizable reference lines. We later followed that up with our COVID initiative driven updates which made it easier to manage constantly changing aircraft utilizations. As part of these initiatives, we also released dynamic track heights, among other features, to maximize screen real estate since individuals were now working from home. These updates included various changes and improvements to the “view-only” user experience to improve remote collaboration.
Most recently, we released templates. Templates is a unique feature that allows Planners to accurately span and plan manpower based on the entire work package. More importantly, it simplifies the workflow to adjust spans and manpower required based on historic performance at each vendor. This feature took us over a year to build and we are incredibly excited to release it to our customers.
Since we have all been unable to attend in-person conferences this year, we will be hosting a series of webinars to walk you through these features and more. The webinar will be 1-hour total (45 minutes with a 15-minute Q&A). Click the following link to register (we will not reach out to you without your permission) and feel free to share it with your coworkers.
The webinar is currently scheduled to occur (all times are in Pacific):
- 10/19 @ 12 PM
- 10/22 @ 8 AM
- 11/4 @11AM
If you do not see a time that works for you, or would like a private update, please reach out to us at info@aerostratsoftware.com and we will be happy to schedule time with you. Additionally, please check back as more times may be added.
